Be Brave Anna by JoDee McConnaughhay

In Be Brave Anna, written by JoDee McConnaughhay and illustrated by Jill Dubin, Anna is afraid of a lot of things, but her father encourages her to repeat Hebrews 13:6 "The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid" any time that she is afraid, and it helps her to  overcome her fears.

I bought this one for Anna partly because the main character shared her name and partly because she was also going through a stage of having a lot of fears.  She loved the book and learned to repeat the verse to help her overcome her fears too.
